    Minimalist Scandinavian:
    Tree House Condominium

Nestled within the Upper Bukit Timah and Chestnut Avenue private residential estate, Tree House has entered the Guinness World Records in 2014 for having the largest vertical garden in the world. Together with other green features, Tree House is expected to achieve approximately over S$500,000 in energy and water savings a year.

The unit that we were working on is a four bedroom unit at tower 62. It was a resale unit with a glass enclosed kitchen and an under-utilised balcony.

Our Approach

The design concept was to bring in the nature vibe from the surroundings park and nature reserve. So we decided to remove the glass enclosure at the kitchen as it overlooks to the balcony which faces the nature park at an angle. And also taking into considerations that the owners seldom cook and the full height glass panels are hard to maintain.

The colour choice were mainly earthy and neutral with timber laminated carpentry. We also installed chengal deckings and glass carpet with filtration system at the balcony.
